چکیده
Background: Every surgery is associated with different levels of risks and complications. Cardiac surgeries would definitely cause moderate to severe anxiety because cardiac are riskier than other invasive procedures.
Objective: To determine the effectiveness binaural beats on pre-operative among patients undergoing for CABG surgery.
Methodology: This pre-test post-test quasi-experimental study was conducted at Tabba Heart Institute. In this study, total 56 were included who surgery. The divided into two groups; interventional group control group. Blood pressure, heart rate respiratory measured before intervention 30 minutes after intervention. For data collection, State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) questionnaire used measure level patients.
Results: Both counseling technique groups comprised 28 patients. Patients in showed significant reduction scores Among groups, a difference seen mean scores, score 52.9±5.5 48.2±6.7 it statistically (p-value=0.006). A systolic blood pressure recorded only group, whereas, no vital signs found group.
Conclusion: Both, BB proved as factor decrease level. Physiologic indicators like also significantly lower over technique.

متن کاملHand Grip Strength and Myocardial Oxygen Consumption Index among Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting Patients
Background: Hand grip strength (HGS) is a reliable indicator of peripheral muscle strength. Although, numerous studies have investigated the strength of hand grip; little attention has been given to coronary artery disease (CAD) patients, exploring the relationship between HGS and myocardial oxygen consumption (MVO2) index. The current study aimed to evaluate the interaction between HGS and MVO...

OBJECTIVE The hypothesis that traditionally defined preoperative risk factors predict prolonged mechanical ventilation after coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG) was tested in our cohort. The predictive power of these factors was quantified, and specific patient subsets destined for prolonged mechanical ventilation after CABG surgery were defined. DESIGN Five hundred thirteen consecuti...
متن کاملConsequences of coronary artery bypass grafting in smokers and addicts
Introduction: The most common cardiac disease is coronary artery disease (CAD) in the world. Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is implemented through two standard surgical techniques, namely off-pump beating-heart CABG (OPCABG) and on-pump CABG (ONCABG). The CABG results in various levels of morbidity, especially in smokers and addicts, who have a lower pain threshold. Regarding this, the ...
